RAM Disk requires administrative privileges
If the RAM Disk requires you to have administrative privileges while you are running it as Administrator, you need to edit the configuration file manually.
- Quit the RAM Disk application using File – Exit in the main menu. Do not use the [X] button as it will only minimise the application.
- Open the following file in Notepad:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\SoftPerfect\RAM Disk\ramdisk.xml
- Change the following line:
<useraccess>false</useraccess>
to<useraccess>true</useraccess>
- Start the RAM Disk application again.
