Difference between NetWorx and Connection Quality Monitor
NetWorx is intended for individual users, offering more features and cross-platform support for Windows, macOS and Linux; whereas Connection Quality Monitor is tailored for businesses and larger networks, offering robust distributed monitoring.
NetWorx
NetWorx would generally be a better choice for home users. In addition to measuring the uptime and speed of the internet connection, it generates detailed usage reports and includes a real-time network usage graph. The most significant difference is that NetWorx is a regular application that runs only when a user is logged in, making it ideal for personal monitoring.
Connection Quality Monitor
Connection Quality Monitor is designed for large networks and business environments. It operates as a service in the background, even when no users are logged in, and allows centralised monitoring from remote locations. This makes it perfect for businesses with multiple sites or offices, where network connection quality needs to be monitored from one central point.
