Auto run
The RAM Disk includes a built-in feature that launches applications of your choice once all RAM disks have been mounted. Some applications that use the RAM disk(s) can fail if they start before the disks had been mounted. Such applications should instead be launched by the RAM disk itself, which will ensure that the RAM disks are ready before those applications are started:
This feature is responsible only for the launch of the listed applications. It doesn’t automatically compel those applications to use a RAM disk.
To make a certain application use a RAM disk, the relevant changes must be made in that application. For example, to make your web browser use a RAM disk for its cache, you need to set a new cache location in your browser settings that points to your RAM disk, or run a special tool that can relocate your browser cache for you.
